Clergy

We are a group of clergy and religious leaders, representing a broad spectrum of faith traditions, whose purpose is to provide education, advocacy, and support for our colleagues in ministry to:

  • Minister to victims of family violence;

  • Work to prevent family violence in our community;

And find common ground as spiritual leaders to address an issue which affects people of all religions, backgrounds and classes.

The Clergy Task Force was started in September 18, 2002 with Jo Terry CCFV, David Kitts KPD, and Thea Peterson KICCUP. First meeting of the original task force members was in October 29, 2002 at Church Street UMC. Group meets at Church Street UMC on the first Tuesday of each month at noon. Contact David Kitts at 215-7244 for more information.
